Dale Cox comes to CARCAM from Gadsden State Community College's Ayers Campus in Anniston, Alabama, where he served as Division Chair for Engineering Technologies and taught the Electronic Engineering Technologies courses. Originally from Georgia, he moved to Oxford in 1968; in spite of travels to Europe, Canada, Mexico and to forty of the forty-eight continental United States, he proudly continues to call Alabama home. He holds a B.S. degree in Technology from Jacksonville State University (1993), and is currently enrolled in the Master's in Manufacturing Systems program there.

His background includes service in the U.S.Army Signal Corps (Air Assault), as an Electronics Mechanic in Electronic Missile Guidance at the Anniston Army Depot, a decade in business at Service Technologies Company which he owned and operated, and several years of experience in local manufacturing, machining and laser fabrication facilities. His experience with the National Science Foundation includes extensive work with the Alabama Microelectronics Consortium and the Alabama Colleges for Electronic Technology Education Advancement (ACETEA) as a Co-Principle Investigator.

Dale is proud to see the great state of Alabama becoming home to world-class automotive manufacturers, and excited to serve the industry and education through CARCAM.
